Lisa Clayton - Film Script

(Laura is alone in the old projecting room. She looks round for people hiding in the darkness, she grabs her bottle of water from in her pocket in case of anyone jumping out on her, after Laura has discovered that no one appears to be about she shouts Charlotte.)



(The door opens slowly with Charlotte in her coat zipped up & her scarf wrapped tightly around her neck. She walks over to Laura & grabs her hand frantically. They keep looking around for somebody walking across the creaking floor boards.) 




CHARLOTTE

Laura you got that bottle handy?

PAUSE:

CHARLOTTE

If somebody jumps us!

PAUSE: (She walks over to Laura & grabs hold of her hand)

LAURA

Just chill out, dunt look like anyone’s here though does it. Keep looking for Kirsty’s jacket. Am telling you she’s still in here

(Quietly)

LAURA

Look over there, thats where he grabbed her.

(Laura blinks. Flashback of when Kirsty was grabbed & taken away by the killer, the girls become distressed as this revisits their thoughts.) 



PAUSE: (Laura turns to Charlotte & looks at her with fear in her eyes.)

(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

CHARLOTTE

Laura a cant deal wi’ it in here, its freaking me out. Too many memories of last time, a se it’s that room, where he had her tied to chair. Why dint he take either of us! Must have sumart about her. A think there’s more to this than we think ya’no.

PAUSE: (Looks of deep thought.)

CHARLOTTE

She must of been here before he snatched her because any killer would have taken us all so there wouldn’t be any way of him getting caught!

(Charlotte starts moving around frantically. She keeps looking over her shoulder after every step she makes as she walks with speed and frantic breathing behind Laura.)



PAUSE:

LAURA

To be honest a dunt know what to think anymore! A just wanna find this jacket & get out of here.

(Laura shakes her head as she keeps looking around the room waiting for the killer to appear.)



(The girls continue to walk with a progressive look over their shoulder. As they walk closer to the staircase, another flashback comes to them when Kirsty was getting dragged by her feet up the stairs. She falls into an unconscious state, due to her head been hit on the stairs as she is being dragged.) 




CHARLOTTE

Laura am not even kidding did you hear that!

(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

(Dramatic banging happens from the back room, the girls begin to scream. Another flashback comes to them, Kirsty was
 screaming whilst being isolated at the back of the room unable to move due to the killer was looking deviously at her, Laura & Charlotte stood from the corner looking helplessly.)
